ABOUT

Luka Van der Cruyssen is a Belgian photographer and filmmaker with a passion for visual imagery and storytelling.

Her audiovisual journey began within the medium of photography but after graduating in 2021 from Sint Lucas Antwerp, she decided to expand her visual language to moving images as well. She finished her second bachelor as a filmmaker in 2024. Now she’s currently in her master degree of photography at Luca School of Arts in Brussels.

Working with both analogue and digital techniques, Luka enjoys experimenting with image reproduction and image manipulation. She describes her process as a ‘quest’ in which she tries to tell a story by combining the strengths of technology and visual poetry. Luka also greatly enjoys making and building exhibitions, exploring various printing techniques and display possibilities.
